Design Notes
This part uses the araC-Pbad - Arabinose inducible regulatory promoter/repressor unit (K808000), designed by iGEM12_TU_Darmstadt. The promoter is repressed by AraC (coded in the part) and induced by L-arabinose. This creates a controlled expression system with low background activity. iGEM12_Trieste optimized the sequence of LL 37 for E. coli expression.
